My name is Mr. Joe H. Garcia, and I’m honored to serve as the new School Counselor here at BHS. I’m thrilled to be part of the Bulldog family and look forward to supporting our students, staff, and families in every way I can.

I was born and raised in Kingsville, Texas, and proudly served in the United States Navy. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi and my master’s degree from Lamar University. With over 20 years of experience in education, I’ve had the privilege of working as both a teacher and counselor at Bishop CISD, a counselor at CCISD, and a teacher at a charter school in Corpus Christi.
