Bulldog Band

The Banquete Bulldog Band is known for its high quality and dynamic performances. The band has overflowed the hallway trophy case with awards and is looked on with admiration by other small schools in the Coastal Bend area.

The band currently has roughly 70 Band members ranging from grades 9-12. Many of the members are placed each year in the ATSSB All Region Band and All Area Band.

The band worked each and every day for the half-time shows for the school's football games. For our commitment, we received straight (III,III,III) ratings at the UIL Marching Contest in Sinton, where we were the talk of the stands with our spirited and high caliber performance, which included musical selections entitled "Theme from Shaft", "Tell Me Something Good" , and "Brickhouse". We also received straight EXCELLENT (I,I,I) ratings in our UIL Sightreading Contest in Sinton. We received straight EXCELLENT (I,I,I) ratings in our UIL Concert Contest. Selections entitled "", "Pinnacle" , and "Steppes of Russia". The Banquete Bulldog Band will be sending their Concert recording into the State Level this summer to see where their Concert abilities stand.
